Hi, I'm using the following code snippet in one of my applications... ------------- response.setDateHeader("...",xx); response.setStatus(304); RequestDispatcher rd = request.getRequestDispatcher("abc"); rd.include(req,res); ----------- I'm getting stream already closed error message on the console. It seems, response.set is committing the response. Is this true?? How could I make the steam open till include call?? PS: I verified with other app.servers and I don;t see any problem with the same code. You never said if you were using EJB-based or POJO-based web services, nor if EJB3 or EJB2.x-based. So I will assume EJB3-based (since that is what I have readily available). Look for this MBean: jboss.j2ee:service=EJB3,name=xxx,jar=yyy.jar where xxx is the name of the EJB that defines the web service and yyy.jar is the name of the JAR file containing the EJB (I deployed mine as a simple JAR, not within an EAR.) The attribute you want is InvokeStats. If this doesn't help, use the jmx console to locate mbeans that contain the name of your app or web service, one of them should have the info you are looking for. [Security & JAAS/JBoss] - Security context null when logging out from Jboss

I posted this in the installation/configuration forum and was advised to post it here. http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=4221706#4221706 Have a sample application deployed in JBoss 5.0.0. GA. Everytime, the user logs out from this app., JBoss throws java.lang.IllegalStateException: Security Context is null. What gets displayed to the user depends on the portal, not on an individual portlet. A portal page can contain many portlets so showing an error page because one portlet has an issue is typically not what it done. You could, however, display some kind of error message within the portlet itself. JBoss Portal does give some control over how it should behave when a portlet runs into a problem. Look at the control.portal.* and control.page.* properties in the jboss-portal.sar/conf/data.default-object.xml file. http://docs.jboss.org/jbportal/v2.7.0.B1/referenceGuide/html/errorhandlin... I just now tried it, changing only these two files, and it worked for me. The only other thing I can think of is that you changed the login-config.xml file. Could you post the application-policy name web-console from that file? Role-based authorization is for the portal, the page and the individual portlet instance. It is not for portlet modes. I don't think that extending an API would help - you would also need some mechanism to enable an administrator to set the permission and you would also have to change the layout managers to use the permissions to display or hide the mode icons. [Microcontainer] - Re: New resource adapter deployers (JCA)

Ok, back working on this again. The question is how to best implement test cases for the deployer chain. In the end the project should boot in standalone mode with a deploy/ directory where the .rar files are located. So defining a bootstrap.xml file should be first on the list. Is the bootstrap.xml file in deployers-vfs the best to copy from ? The project currently uses the EJB3's EmbeddedTestMcBootstrap class to do unit testing.
