It's actually Weblogic which is faulty here. To determine whether you want to call-by-value (remote) or call-by-reference (local) we must have a reference to the appropriate interface. I just made the same test with REPL_SYNC and I can see the same exception with the right lockAcquisitionTimeout (15000). Is REPL or INVALIDATION what makes the difference here? Hi, You can see the transaction is rolled back. javax.transaction.RollbackException So the message won't get lost. But the messages seems imply an issue. Do you have a test to reproduce it? Thanks.
