Apart from a couple of appenders, which are not used in any of the configurations, everything else in that configuration is commented out. So i don't see how that log4j configuration file is useful. What do the contents of jboss-log4j.xml look like? [jBPM Users] - How to control process transition in JBPM 4.0?

Hello everybody, I have a question. I am trying to implement my web application activity into JBPM. That means when user move from one screen to other screen I want to move from one task/state to other. Now suppose user is on first page ie. he entered in first task/stage of process, call the java component get the return value and display output on the page. Here, I don't want process to do transition from first state to another unless user make move to next page. In short, how can i stop my state to stop transition unless call is made by user activity from web application? Please advise if whatever I have explained is possible and how it can be achieved. I've been trying to install the patch associated with: https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBCL-109 It fixes a hang in the classloader that I think we are hitting because we see all the HTTP threads blocked on a thread that look exactly like the stack in: https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBAS-6327 I tried using the -Djboss.patch.url method, but classes in the old jars seem to be getting loaded instead of the new ones. [jBPM Users] - jBPM 4 JobExecutor, multiple appservers, same db...

Another question in regards to the JobExecutor. We will be running multiple application servers against a single database. If the JobExecutor is running on all of our application servers, is this going to be a concurrency problem? Or is the jBPM 4 JobExecutor designed to cope with this out of the box? Thanks. [jBPM Users] - How to start JobExecutor with jBPM 4 + Spring

Does anyone have any idea how to start the JobExecutor? I have configured the JobExecutor in the jbpm.cfg.xml file and it is working. However, it only seems to run when an asynchronous activity is started (ie: a task with a timeout in it is created). According to the documentation I just need to add this line to my jbpm.cfg.xml: <job-executor threads="4" idle="15000" idle-max="60000" lock-millis="3600000" /> I'm concerned because the JobExecutor does not seem to run when the server is started such as in a server restart. Therefore if I had old jobs from before the server was shut down, they would not run. I'm running jBPM 4 in a Spring container if that matters. There is also no need to use a specific 'Process project'. Just define the jBPM User Library as per http://docs.jboss.com/jbpm/v4.0/userguide/html_single/#definejbpmuserlibr.... Add this library to a new Java project and you are all set. [Spring Integration] - Re: Can't get a reference to parent context.

Thanks for your response Marius. I've tried context.getParentBeanFactory(), and it returns a null reference when called against the child context. I wonder if this has anything to do with me using the SpringApplicationContextDeployer instead of the default BeanFactory one? Either way, I'll take your advice and design my application differently - even if I get this working I'll probably run into another issue. Thanks!
