I was able to find a work arround for this problem.
My original IE request was like this:
var xmlhttp = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP");
xmlhttp.open("POST", URL, false);
xmlhttp.send(xmlRequest); -- some xml
I disabled the request user agent header by using to the folowing api:
xmlhttp.setRequestHeader("User-Agent","new user agent");
Now it is working fine. though I still don't know why I originally got the exception.

[JBoss AOP Users] - JBoss AOP ISSUE

Hi
I have tried to execute following sample JBOSS AOP application, my aspect(MyAspect .java) class is never gets invoked. Can someone helpe me to resolve this issue.
For the attached files, aspect class is never invoked.
When I have added the following property @ build.xml at run-load-time target,

[Beginner's Corner] - Please! PLEASE! PLEASE! Just ONE Getting-started example

After running JBoss 3.2 for years and years, I have tried repeatedly to get ramped up with JBoss 4 and now 5.1, but no matter how I try and how far I search, I can never find any getting started examples that will both BUILD and DEPLOY in JBoss.
Most recently, I'm using Netbeans 6.7.1 and JBoss 5.1.0, and I've tried the ZooApp example in the Netbeans tutorials (uses Entity Beans and JSF). I've made a version of the project configured for GlassFish and it deploys and runs fine. The JBoss-configured copy of the project will not deploy no matter what I try. Neither do any of the other standard getting-started examples, not even the ones from JBoss tutorials.
Below is the latest JBoss log of the failed deployment, and here is the link to the entire project zipped up, in case anyone wants to take a look at it. Is there something I am doing wrong? Or is JBoss just that hard to use? Should I just give up and move to GlassFish? I really want to stay with JBoss, but I have hit my head against a wall for too long now.
I really could use some help, if someone can, please...

[Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - JBoss restart script

When we restart the script there are two problems under heavy load:
It takes JBoss long time to come down, or it won't shut down at all
After restarting there are still sockets connected to the AJP port, preventing the JBoss to bind to this port (my guess, as waiting for these sockets to close solves the problem.
I've written the following script in order to restart the jboss. My problem is that even if the scripts waits enough time to have all the sockets to be closed by the OS the start fails. If I kill the script and run it again, it starts the jboss perfectly.
I'd appreciate any fixes to the script.

[Apache & Tomcat Users] - How to add http headers to ResteasyProviderFactory

Hi all, I new to this forum... so dont know if this is right place to post this question... However...
I have a problem but cant fine the solution, so I thought I would ask you.
I am using ResteasyProviderFactory, ProxyFactory and ClientResponse to send & receive my request to the server from my test code like as follows.

OK. I am getting the authorization header from the server and I am able to read this. How will send the auth header to my subsequent request to the server.
Am I using the Client framework correctly?
Is there a way to add the header to my next request?

There was a bug on ID generations.. When you crashed the VM the data was stlil there, but because of that bug the Journal was duplicating IDs causing a few issues.
It will be available on Monday's release.
