We've been talking about it for a while now, and working on it even longer, but we believe the time has come to just get the jBPM5 code out there
and start asking for community feedback and assistance.
The current jBPM5 snapshot offers open-…
[View More]source business process execution and management, including
* an embeddable, light-weight process engine in Java, supporting native BPMN2 execution
* BPMN2 process modeling, both in Eclipse (developers) and web-based (business users)
* process collaboration, monitoring and management through the Guvnor repository and the management consoles
* human interaction using an independent WS-HT human task service
* strong and powerful integration with business rules and event processing
So where to start looking?
For those that want to get their hands on the source code:
http://github.com/krisv/jbpm http://github.com/krisv/jbpm
Documentation (which is still under heavy construction but will be extended significantly in the next few weeks) can be found https://hudson.jboss.org/hudson/job/jBPM5/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/ta... here.
And you can always download the latest snapshot binaries, sources, the gwt-console, documentation and an installer here:
https://hudson.jboss.org/hudson/job/jBPM5/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/ta... https://hudson.jboss.org/hudson/job/jBPM5/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/ta...
Enjoy !

[JBoss Web Services] - Unsupported assertion. Policy not supported

--------------------------------------------------------------
Hi everybody.
I am trying to develop an app. that uses WebServices but I have some problems when I try to get a response from them.. In particular when the appl. try to build the request to send the message to WS. But …
[View More]first, let me explain you the steps we already did:
- We had JBOSS-WS libraries v2.0.1 and JBOSS v4.2.3 --> It was updated *JbossWS libraries to 3.1.1 (Native)* (Jboss stay in 4.2.3)
- It was got the WSDL that we're going to use in the APP and was generated the source code of WebServices using the 'wsconsume' from 3.1.1 version.
- We created a Java project in Eclipse, copied the source code into that, built successfully and deployed in Jboss..
- It was created a Mock with using SoapUI 3.5.1
To be sure that it worked, it was created a JUnit test to check funcionality.. --> JUnit ends test with an OK!.
We created the client code of WS, built and deployed in Jboss... Time to checks:
We invoking the client and:.... WSException: Policy not supported.
I think that there are already several discussion about this problem, but certainly I can't find anything that solved this problem:
- I tried to change the path of ProviderImpl in Provider class as shown in: http://community.jboss.org/thread/151773 http://community.jboss.org/thread/151773 but it not works
We think that there is something wrong in the policy assertions of WSDL, so I hope you can help us because we are wasting a lot of time in this problem and It seems that we can't get the right solution.
Thanks you.
Greeting,
Dani.

[JBoss Remoting] - Using sockets from JBoss AS?

"Using sockets from JBoss AS?"

Hi,
I am writing a web-app using the Seam Framework that needs to talk to a musical programming application called MaxMSP.
It seemed to me that JBoss Remoting was a good solution for this, and I have a standalone test application working …
[View More]that will talk to MaxMSP (MaxMSP allows you to write Java externals, and I was able to get a JBoss Remoting server to work well from within MaxMSP).
The problem is that when I tried to move the code for establishing the client connection and callback server to the Seam app, I got an EOFException "end of file" error message (thrown from line 877 of org.jboss.remoting.transport.socket.MicroSocketClientInvoker.java).
After some Googling I saw a comment that led me to believe that JBoss AS might be blocking the socket connection. Is it even possible to use sockets with JBoss Remoting from within Jboss AS?
I tried to use RMI instead and almost got it working but unfortunately that doesn't work from within MaxMSP...since MaxMSP has its own dynamic classloader and RMI also has a dynamic classloader, I think there's a conflict there based on the error I was getting. I came to this conclusion because I got the server code to work fine outside of MaxMSP (as a standalone app).
Any pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt
