As it's the only one that knows which deployments/repositories exist that could potentially resolve this -- aka dry resolve. MC's mechanism should only know to say true or false if a particular set of ControllerContexts can be resolved. If you think it is an important test, I'll let you figure out how to recreate it using public api. ;-) This is explained in more details in some other thread. The issue is that we suppress the exception, only posting a warning -- the only way to know if the wanted behavior occured. So Jboss_home=C:\jboss-4.2.2.GA and Java_home=C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_17. What is the category to turn on Trace logging for "Starting jboss:service=WebService"? Maybe that would give me more information.
