The problems seems to be that the connections in the connection pool are not invalidated when connections to websphere mq is lost, so when an outbound message is to be sent it get's a stale connection which fails. Outbound communication starts working again when jboss idleremover has flushed the connection pool. And it's JBoss 4.2.3.GA (not 4.2.2 as I first wrote), and Websphere MQ 6.2.0.5. [JBoss Tools] - Eclipse and JBT faster on Linux vs. Windows?

I've always complained about how slow Eclipse is and perhaps some of that has to do with all the plugins that are eagerly loaded on startup (i.e. slow startup time when switching workspaces). I installed Eclipse 3.5.x on Ubuntu 9.10 today and installed JBT 3.1.0 and it seems to be running much faster. Is this a generally accepted behavior? The actual dependency chain still comes in from jboss-ejb3_1, but the versioning is coming from depMgt in the BOM. When we are ready to upgrade our components, this is the place to do it. [jBPM] - Persistence without using Hibernate

Any suggestions, tips, warnings, etc. on how hard it would be to replace the database access layer with stored procedures? I need the database to store process definitions, history, tasks, etc. If this is going to be a huge effort, can you recommed perhaps another similar open source tool which would be easier to use with stored procedures (i.e. Drools 5??)
