First you should download jboss-4.2.3.GA and extract it in a directory, download apache-ant and config ant correctly(mostly the ANT_HOME=xxxx,PATH=%PATH%;%ANT_HOME%/bin). Second, you can modify config/build.properties, change software.installation.dir=${user.home} to your jboss directory. Then you can enter deploy directory in bpel, and execute "ant main" to deploy jbpm-bpel. enter examples/hello directory, and execute "ant main" to deploy hello example to jbpm-bpel. execute "ant test" run a test, verify the hello example. If you want to try other examples, you should install jswdp first. [jBPM Development PVM] - Problem with deployment of process design

I have unzipped the jbpm in d:\jbpm directory & in Eclipse I have installed the jbpm using local site & directing the runtime locatiion to the d:\jbpm directory.& server deployer is showing as /jbpm-console/upload I have created a process project & have created a process definition using the gui & source both. When I tried to deploy, connection to server is tested successfully , but the process definition is not getting deployed, it says 'An unexpected exception caused the deployment to fail" Cpould any one tell me the problem ? [jBPM Development Web Console] - Problem with logging in the console

It has lodede the follwing war files in the C:\jboss-4.2.2.GA\server\default\deploy\jbpm\jbpm-enterprise.jar C:\jboss-4.2.2.GA\server\default\deploy\jbpm\jbpm-service.sar C:\jboss-4.2.2.GA\server\default\deploy\jbpm\jsf-console.war It is opening the login screen when I use the URL http://localhost:8080/jbpm-console/ http://localhost:8080/jbpm-console/ But I am not able to login with any of the user/password pair suggested on the login screen - I tried admin/admin, user/user, manager/manger. I went to the C:\jboss-4.2.2.GA\server\default\conf\props\jmx-console-users.properties & C:\jboss-4.2.2.GA\server\default\conf\props\C:\jboss-4.2.2.GA\server\default\conf\props.properties file & saw admin has been defined in these files, but not the others. I entered others also, but login is not working. Can you say what is gone wrong ? The idea is that Red Hat picks and chooses the Project elements it feels it can offer support on within the Product(s) it will offer. jBPM version X is always here on .org an unsupported Project offering. The jBPM Community Project members can work on jBPM 4 (I assume you all will, as there has been lot's of interest posted here lately so why stop working on it). The code base is GPL, it is freely available and I am assuming anyone with a bit of competence and interest will be given the chance to commit to the project. Due to the nature of the ObjectInputStream classes are looked up using local class loader and there is no checks towards DeploymentClassLoader (resources stored in db). It works fine for user code (such as activities and event listeners) because these type of items are DeploymentClassLoader aware. I made small checks on it with sample fixes and it seems to work after making that deserialization aware of resouces stored in db. Need to work on it a bit more to verify if everything works properly. Do you know if there is any jira issue for that?!
