"Set "maxSession" of an MDB using XML instead of Annotations"

Hi,
I having an application developed on the apis of Hornetq-2.2.5 with AppServer JBossAS-5.1.0. And with EJB3 implementaion.
I am trying to set "maxSession" parameter of an MDB using xml instead of annotations. I've set the following parameters
In standardjboss.xml :
1) maxSession -> 20 in *jms-message-inflow-driven-bean* <invoker-proxy-binding>
2) MaximumSize -> 20 in *message-driven-bean* <invoker-proxy-binding>
In ejb3-interceptors-aop.xml
1) maxSize -> 20 in *Message Driven Bean* <domain> for Pool Annotation.
But, the changes are not reflected, max session are created as *15*, which is the *default* value of the *maxSession* of an MDB. According to following JBoss Doc, http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/JBoss_Enterprise_Application_Platform/5...http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/JBoss_Enterprise_Application_Platform/5...
it says that, in order the changes to be reflected, *you need to set the maxSession parameter either on the resource adapter itself or via an an Activation Config Property on the MDB itself.*
I tried digging out the Hornetq Resource Adapter (*ra.xml*), but I find no clue where to set it. Pl. have a pointers on the same.
Thanks.

With 3.7 there is nothing you need outiside of copying jars of ReportEngine/lib to your classpath (web-inf/lib). What you are running into most likely is that you are still using the 1.3 report-server code which is not compatible with Birt 3.7. We are fixing this now as part of the jbpm-installer AS7 upgrade. Will update here when its changed in (remind me too if you don't hear anything in the next couple of days).

I had the same issue and solved it by upgrading to JDK 1.6+.
The user guide says JDK 1.5+ is all that is required and I happened to have 1.5.0_16 installed so I just went with that. After having the described issues (and noticing that in the demo video they are using JDK 1.6.0_14) I switched to JDK 1.6.0_16 since I had that installed already and now everything is working fine.
Also, I'm not sure if this was necessary or not but just to be safe, after switching JDKs I deleted the jbpm-installer/ folder, re-extracted the installer archive, and re-ran "ant install.demo".
Hope this helps.

Hi Guys,
I am looking for a way to read the values of variables in my process instance after it is started.
I am able to get the ProcessInstanceId through below java codes. Any idea how can I
continue from here?
| | | BlockingGetTaskResponseHandler getResponseHandler = new BlockingGetTaskResponseHandler(); |
| | | client.getTask(taskId, getResponseHandler); |
| | | getResponseHandler.waitTillDone(10000); |
| | | Task ts = getResponseHandler.getTask();
| | | ts.getTaskData().getProcessInstanceId(); |
|
thanks

Hi,
we meet the problem with starting as7 by standalone-xts.xml without internet connection.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Take latest JBossAS 7 from git hub
2. Build JBossAS
3. Disconnect from the internet
4. start the AS: sh bin/standalone.sh --server-config=standalone-xts.xml
5. observe:
Failed to start service jboss.ws.endpoint-publish.ws-c11: org.jboss.msc.service.StartException in service jboss.ws.endpoint-publish.ws-c11: javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: org.apache.ws.commons.schema.XmlSchemaException: Unable to locate imported document at 'http://www.w3.org/2006/03/addressing/ws-addr.xsd', relative to 'schema1.xsd'.
more details in https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBTM-966https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBTM-966
I found there is META-INF/jax-ws-catalog.xml in module/org/jboss/ws/jaxws-client/main/jbossws-cxf-client-4.0.0.CR1.jar
and it looks like as7 *can not* load this file to mapping the remote sechma urls to local files.
so my question is:
1. as7 can not load jax-ws-catalog.xml ?
2. this file is placed in the right directory ?
3. do I miss other configurations to use this catalog file ?
Thanks a lot,
Amos
