[JBoss Web Services] - RestEasy strips namespace off returned XML

The input into my create is an XML document represented by a JAXB annotated class. I can execute the create and pass in the XML successfully: <MyData xmlns:xsi=" http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd=" http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"> <MyDetails>blahblah</MyDetails> </MyData> The problem is that when I read the data after it has been stored, my response contains: <MyData> <MyDetails>blahblah</MyDetails> </MyData> The client would like the response to be unchanged from the input. Is anyone aware of how I would go about including the namespaces on the root element of the returned object? [EJB3] - TimerService: Timer interval stops after retry

We are noticing the timer doesn't fire timeouts anymore after an exception has occured and the retry of the current timeout isn't finished before the new timeout should occur. We attached two source file, which will demonstrate the problem. In short: The execute method in the attached example gets called every minute. The first time it will throw an exception to enter the retry. When entering the retry it will sleep for 90 seconds to make sure it is not finished before the next timeout occurs. After the retry finished, new timeouts will not occur. We would expect new timeouts after the retry finished, but this doesn't happen. Can anyone explain why? henry katz [http://community.jboss.org/people/freemarket] created the discussion "jdbc connections hangs in wizard under 3.3.0M4 for sqljdbc4" To view the discussion, visit: http://community.jboss.org/message/640096#640096 -------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, Under 3.3.0M4, sqljdbc4 $ md5sum /cygdrive/c/Temp/sqljdbc4* 402130141d5f2cee727f4371e2e8fd8a */cygdrive/c/Temp/sqljdbc4.jar reproducibly hangs using the database development wizard in JBDS 4.1.0 (eclipse 3.6.1) Eclipse Indigo 3.7.1 while Informix drivers work fine. The same driver above works perfectly in the jboss 5.1 AS to drive various web apps. There is no error in the .log file from within current workspace and hang must be killed each time. Only remaining eclipse instance working with same driver is JBDS 3.0.1. Any suggestions for a workaround or solution? This impacts all wizards but web apps work fine. I searched , read discussions,forums regarrding it and I have taken following steps. 1. This table holds a value for generating a key. The problem is that this table/entity is accessed by different applications. It's implement like this: @Stateful @Remote( VZBusinessRemote.class ) @Local( VZBusinessLocal.class ) public class VZBean implements VZBusinessLocal, VZBusinessRemote { @PersistenceContext(unitName="AUnitEJB") private EntityManager em; @EJB( name="vzBeanAVPBasis", beanName="AVPBasisBean" ) private AVPBasisBusinessLocal basisBean; private Long key; @Override public void unmarshalAVZ( AVZ avz, int startAt, int endat ){ ...domanythings... key = basisBean.findKeyAndSaveKey(); ....domanythings... } After invoking the SFSB unmarshalAVZ() and calling basisBean.findKeyAndSaveKey() inside this method other applications cannot read nor write to the table/entity with the key table. Even if I call em.clear() after getting and updating the key table the record is locked for other application, but it should be possible for other apps even to write to the locked record. When the method unmarshalAVZ() is finished, locking isn't a problem anymore, but this method can take a very long time and thus locks the key table. So - what can I do or what's wrong? I am having 2 jboss instances running in 2 different machines ( say serverA and serverB). Configured a bridge in server A whose source is a queue in server A and destination is a queue in server B. Server B is having an MDB to listen to its local queue. Application running on server A sends message to queue deployed on server and will reach server B MDB through the bridge. This works perfectely when server A and server B are up and running. But once server B is down and when it becomes up, it has been seen that messages are not coming in the order . They come in the random order.
