[jBPM] - how to get the taskId in "candidate-groups" sicenario?

[jBPM] - JBPM workflows with zero coding

Because the workflows will be created by end users. They should be able to create workflows and assign the users and change the status of the workflow. For example : posting a blog post. Initiater will create a workflow based on the blog post type. Initiater -> ProofReader -> Approver -> Post Lets say the post is very straight forward and does not require any ProofReader. So he will skip the ProofReader part and assing it to approver. Like that he should be able to decide his own workflows and entities between workflows. I need to guide them to create all these things in JBPM. Can you guys guide me to ramup on this. I tried the sample evaluation workflow. I could not understand how those UIs (ratings listbox checkbox messages) are created and users are created. If possible can anoyone explain how that evaluation work flow can be re-created without coding or eclipse. Also some inputs or steps to create my blog posting workflows. Thanks in advance. how to deal with vfs resource URL returned by JBoss without depending on jboss-vfs

Hello, I'm trying to find a way to NOT depending on jboss-vfs while dealing with vfs resource ulrs that returned by JBoss 6.0.0 I find it frustrating to call URL.openstream() on "vfs:" urls and getting back a NULL. Is there a way to ask JBoss to give the app the physical url by default? Thank you, Hung

One big "!!!" in your code snippets: don't use a Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY of "org.jboss.security.jndi.JndiLoginInitialContextFactory", because this was problematic with JBoss 4.2, and it will no longer work in AS 5 and above. You will have to perform a JAAS login as I described. The security client of AS5 is just a simplified JAAS login, which performs internally similar things as my code ;-). And it follows the well established multiple views paradigm that users have come to expect. 2 yes you are correct, BPEL does not have the concept of subprocesses and the equivalent is a Scope. 3 I think the idea is to make the editor easier to use and understand for business analysts and people who are not familiar with BPEL. If this means hiding some of the details and making it look more like BPMN, then that's OK. These pages are meant to be used in addition to the current graphical Design page. We can also allow the user to show or hide any of these pages with Preferences. How about a "BPEL Classic" and "BPEL Lite" ;) --------------------------------------------------

Until now, no Eclipse based tools were available for Deltacloud and you had to switch between your Eclipse and your browser when deploying webapps to a Deltacloud server. h1. Solution JBoss Deltacloud tools now offer you Eclipse based tooling that allow you to stick to your favorite IDE while developing and deploying to the cloud. JBoss Deltacloud tools allow you to start and stop instances at will, access them with a terminal and deploy to it as if it was a standard application server running in the wild. The JBoss WTP Server adapter now allows remote deployments to Deltacloud instances in a way you alreday know from legacy deployments. h2. It already has JBoss AS 6 installed to it so that you will be ready to deply web applications to it. Since this custom image is not listed (there's a https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DTACLOUD-16 bug in the current Deltacloud server that prevents all images from being listed) you'll have to type it in directly into the appropriate field: > ami-ca51a1a3 (32-bit) > ami-a651a1cf (64-bit) You'll then have to provide a geographic location to your instance. The so called realm matches the datacenter that will run your instance. There are 4 different locations in the US available to choose among. h3. Choose a key You'll furthermore have let you provide a key to interact with amazon ec2. This location should match the directory that is used in the *SSH2 preferences* in Eclipse. The ssh subsystem in the *RSE* (Eclipse Remote System Explorer) will then be able to pick it and use it when connecting to your instance with the *SSH shell* that is build in. You may of course also create your key manually in the *aws console*. You will then have to download your key. You'll then have to add it to your *Private keys* manually. h3. Select a hardware profile The last step in configuring your instance involves choosing a hardware profile. The profiles differ in the hardware equipment that you'll get for your instance. The smallest one - *t1.micro* - is available free of charge. It wont cost you a single penny to run a micro instance on ec2. If unfortunately has not enough memory to *run JBoss AS smoothly*.
