Hi,
I'm trying to understand/evaluate jBPM5. I already covered the basics. I was able to create and run a very simple process, like the one described http://www.plugtree.com/plugtree-jbpm5-tutorial-1-modeling-your-basic-pro... here.
But, I'm searching the internet, with no lucky, for a simple example using a form, like this http://docs.jboss.com/jbpm/v3/demos/movies/jbpm-overview.htm demo for jBPM3.
So, where I can found a simple example of jBPM5 in which a user will fill a form and submit it for approval?

Hi all,
We are having problems in production enviroments with datasource connections. We have a JBOSS 4.2.2.GA with a datasource configured to create connections against an Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0. It seems that some connections returned by the pool are closed because we get the following exception when some thread try to use that connections:

Other connections returned by de DB connection pool more ore less at the same time seems to work properly. For some reason (firewalls, proxyx may be) this connections are not in use.
We think that including a configuration in the datasource which forces the pool to test the connections before being borrowed would solve this problem, because the pool would returned util connections prepared to be used. We have found two possible solutions after reading 5.3 Configuring JDBC DataSources http://docs.jboss.org/jbossas/docs/Server_Configuration_Guide/4/html/Conn... : (http://docs.jboss.org/jbossas/docs/Server_Configuration_Guide/4/html/Conn...)
We have some questions about how these configurations works:
* *check-valid-connection-sql*
Before the pool returned one connection, it is checked, executing the sql sentence specified, such as select * from dual
If the SQL sentence is executed correctly the connection is returned because the test was OK. Am I right?
If it was not posible to executed the statement, what is the behavior? Would the datasource try with another connection an consider that the previous connection is not in use and would be removed from pool? Does exists in JBOSS datasource configuration any tag which specifies a timeout to decide that a connection is closed in case that there are any response to the SQL test statement?
Including a check-valid-connections, does ensure that every connection returned by de pool will be in used in terms of connectivity?
If all the connections of the pool were invalid, Will the JBOSS datasource test all the connections and when find that all are invalid would create a new pool with new connections?
As I understand in this kind of solution a "user" of pool connections would get an exception after pool has test all available connections and all were invalid, Am I right?
What would be the behaviour of pool in terms of throwing exceptions when request a DB connection?

What are the differences between this solution and the one above beyond the procedure to decide if a connection is valid? I mean, if I implement the org.jboss.resource.adapter.jdbc.ValidConnectionChecker interface and the method SQLException isValidConnection(Connection e) doesn't do anything more than executed "select * from dual" statement we would be talking about the same solution?
valid-connection-checker-class-name provides more possibilities to test a connection, right? but the rest of behaviour of datasource is equal in the two solutions, the unique difference is the method to test if a connection is OK, Am right?

I'm trying to use the Hibernate Console for Eclipse.
I'm getting a rather long error message that starts with:
Error while opening console configuration
Reason: org.hibernate.console.HibernateConsuleRuntimeException: Could not load AnnotationConfiguration.
It looks like the cause is:
org.hibernate.MappingException: Invalid ORM mapping file.
Error parsing XML (line5 : column 30): schema_reference.4: Failed to read schema document 'orm_2_0.xsd', because 1) could not find the document; 2) the document could not be read; 3) the root element of the document is not <xsd:schema>.

after remove asserts in archive, the process can be add again. :)
another Q3: now I added a process to defaultPackage, and built package has successful. but in bpm console, I can't see the added process in process view. why?
BTW, is there any doc to guide how to model and run a process step by step?

Hi,
I am working on an application where there are various portlets accessed by a menu. The portlets are all at minimized state at start up. A portlet is converted to normal state whenever it is selected from the menu.
This is working fine for the following configuration:
JBoss Portal 2.6.4
Richfaces 3.1.4
Jboss Portletbridge 1.0.0 B1
JSF 1.2.13
I am trying to do the following upgrade:
JBoss Portal 2.7.2
Richfaces 3.3.3 Final
Jboss Portletbridge 2.1.0 Final
JSF 1.2.13
After the upgrade, the portlets do not get to normal state after being selected from the menu. For debugging, I change some portlets to be at normal state at start up and they work fine in this case, until I minimize them again.
So, as a summary, the problem is, I can't get portlets to normal state by initiating an action from another portlet. I wonder of there is a problem with IPC after the upgrade. I do not see any exception in the logs.
Any idea on where the problem might be and what I should check?

Hi guys,
Thanks for all your hard work on JBoss Tools! I use it every day and it gives me a real boost.
I'm trying to configure the location for JBoss to deploy WARs when running inside Eclipse. Under my 'Servers' tab if I click on, say, a Tomcat instance there is a part of the properties page called 'Server Locations'. Under there, I can specify (among other things) 'Use Tomcat installation' (instead of 'Use workspace metadata') which deploys to the usual /tomcat/webapps folder.
But if I double click a JBoss server there is no such option. I seem to only be able to configure a location of '[workspace metadata]' or '/Servers/JBoss 6'. This is a problem on Windows, because both these locations are under /Program Files, and *JBoss AS 6 does not like spaces in folder paths*. I get this error:
