JBoss Developer Studio is Red Hat's full fledged Eclipse based IDE which is freely available in its standalone version (i.e. without JBoss Enterprise Application Platform) and the same goes for this milestone 5 release - it is freely available from http://devstudio.jboss.com/earlyaccesss http://devstudio.jboss.com/earlyaccesss. Noticable changes in JBoss Developer Studio M5 are: h2. Universal Installer We now provide an universal installer that works on all our supported platforms (and then some). This means you no longer have to consider which of the many OS specific installers we provide. You now just download the universal installer, run it and the installer will figure out which OS you are running and install the OS specific bits as needed. h2. [jBPM] - problem in JBPM 5.2 integration with Spring

I added code to my mvc-config.xml as specified in the official user guide of JBPM 5.2 but when i run the project it throws this error: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException : Attribute "schemaLocation" bound to namespace " http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" was already specified for element "definitions". This running fine with Jboss installed locally on my pc in windows xp operating system, but when I deploy the application on our linux server the value of hidden variables textually: ${SuccessForm.lines[nriga].codiceProc} ... ${SuccessForm.lines[nriga].descProc} ... the Jboss I've installed on my pc is jboss5.1.0 , the version installed on our company server is jboss-4.0.5.GA. maybe the valorization of hidden variables is deplorable? For that you have to create the process variable named userName. And also it is essential that you add that user name to the taskSession. Or the other way you can use local task server and you do not need to add that user to taskSession. for that you have to use jbpm5.2 local task server. Further to this I have to demonstrate the capability of programmatically assign tasks to various roles and users . As of now the example shows that the Assignment of tasks to the users are done in the bpmn file as below <potentialOwner> <resourceAssignmentExpression> <formalExpression>john</formalExpression> </resourceAssignmentExpression> </potentialOwner> As the configuration of users and roles in a customer application is bound to change can we programmtically assign a task to a user or role after checking the (runtime) configurations.It would be very difficult and hindering to propose that the User/Roles can be changed only by changing the process definition that is the BPMN file. Or in brief *I want to seperate User/Role assignements from the process definition and want to determine the* *User/Role* *in runtime to which the task is assigned.
