Hello folks, I have guvnor setup as my process 'definitions' editor using jackrabbit underneath as the JCR. Also, in my code I am creating the knowledgebase using this repository like so:

This is working fine but when I add or remove a process definition using guvnor and rebuild the package, the change does not automagically show up in the knowledgebase that was created towards the end of the snippet above. With 'newInstance' set to false I was hoping this would happne automatically (and also the ksessions created off of this knowledgebase will get updated as well).
Is this expected behavior or am I missing something?

Hi, hopefully someone can point me in the correct direction.
I have a Fact that I want to check in an Intermediate Catch Event, I want to compare that Fact to a hardcoded "Yes/No" value and to a Process Instance variable that is in the ksession.
The process instance variable called "currentInstanceId" needs to be checked as part of the condition match. I have hardcoded the "currentInstanceId" into the condition for the moment (and this works for testing). But I need to replace the hard coded "35036-1" is with a comparison to the id in the current process scope.
Any help would be appreciated.
FYI: the logic that I am trying to implement is: process goes along until a point is reached, where the process should wait until an Asset does not have any Infrastructure associated. The process should wait until a matching Fact is inserted into working memory. e.g. matching InstanceInfrastructureFact() is inserted with values matching the wait condition.

I have created a business interface called SurveillanceFunctionality which is implemented by an EJB called SurveillanceBean. I am able to invoke the bean through the business interface from a remote, standalone application, but for some reason I cannot invoke the very same bean locally from a managed bean in my web war, which is deployed in the same EAR has the ejb.jar where the SurveillanceBean resides.
In my web app, I am trying to inject the EJB like this

@ManagedBean
public class AlarmEventView {
@EJB
SurveillanceFunctionality surveillanceFunctionality;
...
}
But when I do this, I get the exception shown at the bottom of this post, saying "Can not set com.wefend.services.surveillance.SurveillanceFunctionality field com.wefend.web.events.AlarmEventView.surveillanceFunctionality to com.wefend.services.surveillance.SurveillanceFunctionality$$$view19"
As I understand the specs, injecting an EJB which is part of the same App should work like a breeze, so I am a bit puzzled here. If anyone has any ideas to things I could try out, I would be grateful.

I thought maybe I am not instantiating the optionalReviews collection correctly, and switched to kcontext.setVariable(“optionalReviews”, optionalReviews); but the error remains and I get a further error of “optionalReviews is defined twice”.

Been a busy week and weekend preparing and arriving at EclipseCon which this year decided to move from sunny(?) California to rainy(?) Reston in Virginia.
EclipseCon is always a busy week for me, and this year is no different - below is a list of the “official” items I’ll be doing:

Hi all,
I have a Session bean:
@Stateless
@TransactionManagement(TransactionManagementType.BEAN)
The session bean calls an entity bean and save the name and the surname in table called Customer
I wanted to manage the transaction from a Java Client so I wrote a Java the following code :
userTx = (UserTransaction) ctx.lookup("UserTransaction");
userTx.begin();
customerCreation.createSimpleCustomer("TestName", "TestSurname");
userTx.commit();
When I run my class I have the error:

If I manage the transaction inside the mehod of my session bean everything works.
Any suggestion ?
