[jBPM] - No diagram associated with the process

I have followed whetever was told in below video tutorial, but of no avail http://people.redhat.com/kverlaen/jBPM5-guvnor-integration.swf I can see my process on console. The only difference between this video and what I am doing is the package in guvnor. I dont see defaultPackage in Guvnor, so I created my own testPackage. Package creation when clicked on "Build Package" in Guvnor is successful. [jBPM] - Integration with not Java application

For example, in my app there are entities called 'knowledge document' - this is pdf file and some text metadata, user is allowed to upload it, document manager allowed to accept/decline it. I need to create same task in jBPM and integrate it with my app - ie when process in jBPM will be finished my application should update data - get document if it was accepted in jBPM or log document decline. Ideally workflow should be like this: User logins in current application, clicks on link 'BPM' and starts work on 'knowledge document' process - uploads file Document Manager also logins in app, opens BPM and finishes process - accepting file for example Document saved in application Looks like I have three main tasks: Make jBPM to use users from my app - dont even know how. I can make web api for users, or allow to use users table in db.. Could someone please point to the areas where we need to check to find our performance bottlenecks. One of the main culprit I see is the hibernate queries. Are we supposed to add indexes to the tables generated by the intsallation. Are there any general guidelines available for ensuring optimal performace of JBPM ( I am using version 5.4.) Can you please tell me y? Also how do we create war file of our project in jbpm's eclipse, i tried the normal way right click the project ,then go to export and select war.............but this war option is not present in jbpm eclipse. help required. --------------------------------------------------

[EJB3] - NotSerializableException encountered in EJB3 calling remote service on the server

Currently most of our code (inherited from years past) always loads the remote service interface even when we can tell we are on the server. Not, during testing we are getting a NotSerializableException in places where we load a remote service on the server and make a call. One instance was us trying to parse some XML and the SAX.parse() method parameters were the XML String and an XML handler. The handler was the object references in the NotSerializableException. All of our EJBs are stateless session beans. I was able to 'get around' this in two ways: 1) load the local interface rather than the remote 2) Changes our XML handler to 'implement Serializable'. #1 seems like the correct answer, we will just have to digg thru the code and find all these cases where a remote service was called, which then starts making additional service calls. Now assume I want to map process variable pvEmailAttachments to inAttachments, but accidentally provide a wrong process variable name, say pvAttachments (instead of pvEmailAttachments). The error I get from jBPM is : Could not find variable scope for variable pvAttachments when trying to execute Work Item EmailActivity Continuing without setting parameter. This seems to be coming from https://github.com/droolsjbpm/jbpm/blob/master/jbpm-flow/src/main/java/or... https://github.com/droolsjbpm/jbpm/blob/master/jbpm-flow/src/main/java/or... . If I understand it correctly, it's just logging to stdout and there's no way for the client java code to catch this issue. In many cases it is useful to catch this error and do something about it (e.g. fail the workflow) instead of just ignoring and continuing. If we continue, the error will pop somewhere else but it will be harder to find the root cause (the root cause in logs will be too far from where the workflow actually fails). What can be done to catch this kind of mapping errors? The eclipse editor will allow any text values in the mapping. This is reported even for exclusive gateways with two ways out where one evaluates process_var == true and the other one evaluates to false. The exact expression inside the sequence flow is return process_var == true; The only gateway's property set is the name. What are the possibilities I'm providing for? Thanks in advance.
