On a second thought, my comment above does not apply to the generate-service task because it runs at the client side. vedavati, can you describe the steps you followed to encounter the exception? Apparently, this problem affects only a reduced number of execution environments, so please mention your operating system, jboss version, ant version and jwsdp version (if any).
