Hi, I also encountered this error on Jboss 4.0.5, using the "All" server.  But
not "default" or the "minimal"  Jboss 4.2.0 doesn't seem to have
this problem. 

I seemed to have fixed it by adding a bad_list file containing  alias net-pf-10 and
rebooting (disabling ipv6) details here:
