As I said, locking a token is a technical thing internally used by jBPM.   Regarding your problem. If a task is assigned to pooled actors they all see it in the pooled task list in their ui. Once the FIRST one clicks on it, you should assign the task to that user. Not earlier. The others won't see it now unless you re-assign it to 'null'.
