curious, but i have assumed that from other postings in the forum:-( Yes the properties are expanded. <core:init jndi-pattern="seam-space/#{ejbName}/local" debug="false"/> The error is only for seam-space and the profile component. I do not have any clue what is wrong with my appserver. Hibernate2, seam-pay,ui and the pdf example deploy correctly.
