I'm curious why you added the weblogic.jar to you WAR and changed the properties? I'm just not familiar with that change. The other change looks right. Have you looked at the seam jpa example? It has specific resource files and build scripts for weblogic 92, and 10 (weblogic 10 is only in cvs + a new reference guide chapter on weblogic 10).
