[JBoss Seam] - Search engine can't find the utf-8 character - jboss-user

I have the code in webpage:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>      
  | <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="application/xhtml+xml;
charset=UTF-8" />

IE can display the page rightly, but has problem for Search engine like google.
