Is it possible to override the default log4j configuration?

From what I've seen, if you do that, then you get the "jboss
forums invalid console appender config detected, console stream is looping" error.

What if you _don't_ want the default logging? i.e. you want to load the logging config
from some custom location? via a jndi url lookup for instance?
