[JBoss Portal] - Portlets aware of region? - jboss-user

Is it possible to modify portal to pass the name of a portlets containing region as part
of the portlet request?

We would like to have a portlet display differently (i.e. image sizes) based on which
region in the layout the portlet is contained.
