Bug fixed: the line in the entity bean: | public void setMsreDesc(String msreDesc) { | msreDesc = msreDesc; | } | should be | public void setMsreDesc(String msreDesc) { | this.msreDesc = msreDesc; | } | This is really grievous and the bug was hard to track...Finally eclipse's yellow warning "this assignment has no effect" caught my attention, I added a "this." and things are working.
