Sorry dude, I've always been of the philosophy that message board threads are more useful when all of the posts related to a particular subject are in a particular thread. In this case, JBossPortal and LDAP fits both of our situations. That makes it alot easier to browse through the conversations on this subject imo. My configuration works for everything except adding and removing users, so I thought it might be a good reference for you to look at. My apologies.
