It doesn't look like thats the issue, the file DOES get generated. File in Question: jboss-4.0.5.GA/server/default/data/hypersonic/localDB.lck Before Server Startup: file does not exist. After startup: file exists. After shutdown: file is removed. It also appears the directory has sufficient permissions (drwxr-xr-x ).
