Thanks for the help, Pete, I posted the topic there, too. It could be that we encountered a limitation of the Embedded EJB3 Container and it simply does not support/respect the @Depends annotation. I would still like to know how you built the jboss-embedded-all.jar that is shipped with JBoss Seam 2.0.0.BETA1? That way I could debug through it and possibly fix it for you.
