HI,
I'm new to JSF and am trying to use the examples from the book "Begining JSF
2APIs and JBoss Seam" by kent Ka lok Tong. I followed all the instructions but when I
run the .xhtml file from Eclipse the Dynamic Content is not showing. The following are the
files created:

I created a new Dynamic Web project in Eclipse (3.5.2) as shown in the attached pic.
server runtime environment is JBoss 5.0
I get the same result whether I run it in the Eclipse internal browser or from IE or
firefox http://localhost:8080/hello11/faces/hello11.xhtml
http://localhost:8080/hello11/faces/hello11.xhtml None of the dynamic content is
displayed.

Your project doesn't seem to be configured properly. Maybe JSF libs are missing...
Maybe faces-config is not in WEB-INF/...
I recomend you to create a JSF project via File->New->Project->JBoss Tools
Web->JSF->JSF Project wizard.
And use JBoss Tools server adapter (Target runtime->JBoss Community->JBoss 5.0)
instead of Eclipse server adapter (Target runtime->JBoss->JBoss v5.0) it uses
incremental depliment instead of building the full war file every time you change
something in your project.

When I tried to recreate the project using the approach you described above it fails to
deploy and I get a HTTP Status 404 on the browser (not even using any dynamic content).
