To answer vickyk, I tried deploying in the manner you suggested, and it still didn't work. So I'll mail the files to you, thanks for your help. To anwer smcgowan, I looked in the server logs, tried comparing a "working" log and a "broken" one, but I'm afraid I just got lost.
