I just installed JBoss 4.0.4 from the latest JEMS isntaller and discovered that javax.annotation.EJB is now javax.ejb.EJB, unlike previous "versions" of 4.0.4. I see the release notes for EJB3RC8, yeah, but why is the EJB3 version changing without a JBossAS version change? How many different versions of 4.0.4 are there?
