You are missing the point and some code/xml - see jboss-aspect-library-beans.xml. I've hacked together a JMXAnnotationTestCase for you in the AS5_trunk/system-jmx. See the test class, and two matching xmls - JMXAnnotationTestCase.xml and JMXAnnotationTestCase-mc.xml.
