eh - why do you think HQLchecking is not enough for you ? :) HQL >= JPQL Thus they work the same. note in b9 there is no additional setup after you have created a console configuration for a project. You just need to make sure the sessionfactory is created (expand the node in the console configuration) - then hibernate tools will offer you code completion and validation.
