<inspect bean="GooGooEngine/local"/> | inspect? Or is that a typo for inject? EJBs are not deployed as Microcontainer Beans (MC beans). So they are not available for injection *in MC style*. However, Andrew recently has written a plugin where in you can inject EJB beans through annotations in MC beans.
