A few quick observations Take myfaces out of your web-inf/lib folder and place them into jboss/server/default/deploy/jbossweb-tomacat55.sar/jsf-libs as jboss can get confused by multiple versions of myfaces. Also in your components.xml file myFacesLifecycle bug should be set to false if you are using myfaces 1.1.3. Hope this helps you along your way.
