Please tell me how to do database connectivity with Oracle9i. I have created a class DAO and jst write the code for opening the connection and executed a query to check the validity of a user and then close the connection. This class is working fine when i run it indipendently but when i try to run it through portlet by passing the username and password, it won't work.
