I think I reflected in another post that the ability to generate a *-object.xml file from a portal definition would be a nice feature. I think that Thomas suggested I write said feature, but I have been swamped working on other things lately. Though I foresee myself doing a lot of portal development work in the near future so I might still do it. Can't recall if there is a JIRA about this, though.
