I would like to report a major bug in jboss 5.1.0 GA-jdk6. I downloaded it. I installed jdk 6. I started jboss. It took 93 seconds!!!!!! to start. That is just terrible. Just terrible. I then tried jboss 4.2.3 GA with jdk 5 and that started in 30 seconds. Both installations are the out of the box installations without any own project installed. The fact that jboss 5 starts 1 minute longer on a dual 2,4 Ghz PC with 2 GB memory compared to 4.2.3 GA is just pathetic. Can anybody explain this really terrible performace loss in the new version?
