This component was NEVER released in any kind of packaged version of Seam (not even a beta). It was pure CVS stuff. Now, of course, all old code is ALWAYS available in CVS, that is why we have a version control system! If you look at the new example application in CVS, you will see how to use the org.jboss.seam.framework.EntityHome class that replaces it. This is a much enhanced design.
