Hi Pete, Thanks for quick reply. I just did a clean checkout of seam from cvs and unjar'ed the provided jboss-el.jar. It is in fact missing Messages.properties from the jar file. When I download the jboss-el source from provided svn link there is a Messages.properties in the trunk\src\org\jboss\el directory. I think its a build problem.
