Oh, I didn't mean to infer that. By putting the EM in JNDI (it gets placed into the "Java:/" Namespace), your Servlet can obtain an EM via a traditional Context.lookup call (just like application clients find EJB stubs). You just can't inject. Or, you can look into integrating w/ JBoss Seam, which handles Webapp/EM integration for you through the use of listeners and filters (though it's been awhile since I've played with it).
