Please file a JIRA issue for this :) I meant to add this support but never got around to it. If you want to doa patch, it would need to be against HEAD rather than 1.2.1.GA as I've done a lot of refactoring since then. Half the work is done (HibernateEntityIdentifier), it needs the common functionality of EntityConverterStore refactored out, and a HibernateEntityStore created, as well as a good way of detecting when Hibernate session is used rather than a JPA entityManager.
