[JBoss Seam] - SelectItems Databinder and JB Portal seam based portlet - jboss-user

Has anyone got the above combination working?  Thats the SelectItems DataBinder from the
seam wiki.

I'm getting a "no concurrent calls on stateful beans" and just copied the
code into my app from the simple example included.
