Here is the root cause:

Caused by: java.net.SocketException: Cannot assign requested address 

Too bad the error message does not state what address is bad, but I suspect one of these
lines in the mysql-persistence-service.xml file:

TCP start_port="7900"

mcast_port="${jboss.messaging.controlchanneludpport:45568}"
