Once I know the timeline, I will update here.

I agree with your input that compatibility matrix should be prominent. Currently, it's
mentioned in portal doc though. 

We bundle jbossas 4.0.4.GA with 2.4.1 portal and 4.0.5.GA with 2.6 portal.
