Hi Kabir, Thanks for your response. This morning, as a last try so I went on a hunch and reinstalled JBoss and configured/deployed aop again. Now the same components are working as expected - even the cross EAR call is getting intercepted properly. Could have been something corrupt in my install. Sorry for the false alarm.
