If you start the app server without your ear deployed, does it start without errors? I want to separate possible app server configuration information problems from problems caused by your app. When your app is deployed, it looks like the run statement is changed (hence the extra JAVA_OPTS settings). Is there any other thing that the deployment of your app changes, other putting the ear file in the deploy directory?
