Unfortunately, cvs head (includes Component.java version 1.206) doesn't seem to solve the problem. I get exactly the same error. If you still want me to, I'll look into building a test case sometime tomorrow. Not fully understanding the error, it may take me a little while to get the test case to a sufficiently small state.
