I managed to "fix" the problem...

I reinstalled my Jboss app server (4.2) and set seam to use JDK6. I was using  JDK 5.

I still haven't figured out why it didn't work with JDK 5 but at least its
deploying properly now.

System: winxp 
JVM: 1.6

JBoss 4.2
Seam 2.0.1GA
