[JBoss Seam] - when to use seam component and when to use ejb session bean - jboss-user

i'm really new to ejb so with regards to design issues, i would want to know when is
it advisable to use an ejb session bean or use a seam component. 

the default codes generated by seam gen uses a seam component authenticator so this made
me wonder what the most appropriate way to design your code.
