I wrote a simple workflow in eclipse. Start node, signal event, end node. When I committed
it to guvnor using eclipse guvnor integration, the workflow was created in the correct
package but when opened in the designer it was empty. Blank!
It only happens with workflow which has a signal event in it. Other workflow without
signal event was fine. Any help?

Looks like you have some problems with the pasted BPMN2, specifically:
<dataOutputAssociation>
<sourceRef>_2_Output</sourceRef>
<targetRef>First_Event_Response</targetRef>
</dataOutputAssociation>
the targetRef First_Event_Response does not exist, did you miss to set a process
variable?
I cannot reproduce problems with signal events on jBPM Designer 2.0 or the latest from
master at people.redhat.com/tsurdilo/designer/master. You can with that successfully
import for example:
https://github.com/droolsjbpm/jbpm/blob/master/jbpm-bpmn2/src/test/resour...
https://github.com/droolsjbpm/jbpm/blob/master/jbpm-bpmn2/src/test/resour...
which contains signal events.

Thank you for taking the time. Not declaring the variable name at process level was indeed
the problem.
The designer now hangs at this point when I try to open the workflow! "Please wait
while loading"

This typically indicate a JavaScript error. Can you open up your Error Console and check?
Also attach the BPMN2 of your process as it is when you experience this problem.

Hi sorry I can't reproduce the issue. Can you:
1) Get the latest from Designer master (people.redhat.com/tsurdilo/designer/master) and
replace you war with it
2) Clear your browser cache before trying again

Well, figured it out (trial & error). Somehow the following line in the workDefinition
was causing trouble. I removed it and it started working!
